Team Assistant in Group Marketing Division

The Role
Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing Department by effectively improving our reporting capability, supporting our newsletter outputs, increasing tasks completed through efficient allocation to team members, and supporting the senior leaders of the Marketing team.
You Will
- Deliver routine reports and data for all business reports and meetings, on behalf of the Marketing Department, including requesting data from other team members to populate the presentations in a timely manner and ensuring reports are up to date and accurate across the Group
- Manage the team’s helpdesk; checking requests and assigning team members to tasks, as well as asking requesters for pre-formatted briefs if required. Ensure tasks are monitored, communication with requesters is ongoing and statuses updated
- Support the Group’s Head of Content and Copy through the build of newsletter creative for both trade contacts and directly to customers
- Upload marketing assets to internal systems for our partners and retailers
- Maintain the Marketing Department's process and procedure documents
- Process expenses, invoices and purchase orders
- Support meetings by drafting agendas, taking minutes and scheduling follow ups for the Heads of Department
- Ensure that the internal filing and processing of digital assets is up-to-date and organised appropriately
- Maintain the Marketing Department's database of contacts
- Proactively identify where additional support can be given to specified team members.
You Will Be
- An excellent communicator with strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and particularly Excel)
- Organised, with proven experience of providing administrative support to a team; used to prioritising, multi-tasking and adhering to deadlines
- A proactive team player, with at least 2 years’ experience as a Team Assistant/PA/Assistant/Secretary or similar role
- Able to demonstrate prior experience with invoicing and raising PO's; and strong attention to detail throughout
- Ideally able to demonstrate previous experience of newsletter or CRM platforms
- Educated to GCSE standard (A*-C/9-4) in English and Mathematics, with additional business administration qualifications being desirable.
The successful applicant will be based at home but will be required to attend our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex, at least once a week.
This role is typically 37.5 hours per week, but we’re happy to consider part-time working. Any part-time arrangement would need to include working across Monday to Friday. Please state your preferred working pattern when you apply.
